How Can I Monitor The Resources That My Account is Using?

Viewing Current Resource Usage

You may check the current resource use of your account using a few different methods:

Top (via Command Line)

You may use the Top command in cPanel's Terminal Application or SSH to see how much resource you are now using. Top, a built-in Linux program, lets users keep an eye on how much system resource is being used and what processes are active on the system.

Resource Usage (via cPanel)

You may also get information on resource use from your cPanel. You will see an overview of your account after launching the Resource Usage Application in cPanel (located in the Metrics Section).

As you can see from the image above, there haven't been any problems with this domain in the last 24 hours. But one of the following messages might appear to you:

Your account has exceeded one or more resource restrictions in the previous 24 hours, resulting in a limitation on your site. Further details on the resource (or resources) that set off the limit will be shown by cPanel.

Your website may soon reach its resource limits - This is a preliminary alert that the resources on your account are probably going to be depleted shortly. More details on which resource might set off a limit will be shown by cPanel.

How Can I See Detailed Information Regarding My Resource Usage?

To see detailed information regarding your resource usage, you can click either the Current Usage Tab or the Details Button:
