DNS Zone Editor- How to Edit

The DNS Zone is the interface via which you may modify a domain that is currently hosted on your server in specified ways. You must first be logged into your hosting package's cPanel in order to use the DNS Zone Editor. The Zone Editor icon may be found in the DOMAINS section of icons once you've entered into your cPanel:

You will be able to edit any domain or subdomain hosted on your server after choosing the Zone Editor. The option to instantly edit the A Record, CNAME Record, or MX Record will be shown for each domain.

All you have to do is click the relevant link if you want to quickly add one of the shown entries through editing. For instance, click the button that reads "+ A Record" if you want to add an A Record. As necessary, you will include the record along with the related IP address:

To save your changes when you have confirmed and inputted the necessary data, choose Add An A Record.

Manage Zone

You may also modify and remove any necessary records after choosing the Manage button to examine the whole DNS zone. Any changes you make to the DNS zone may cause your site to momentarily go down in order for the new record to propagate, thus it is strongly advised that you only alter or remove DNS records if you are 100% convinced that this is the right course of action. Any modifications made to the DNS zone fall under this.

To modify the Name or Record (which pertains to IP Address) of a record, click Edit next to it. To delete a record, click Delete. You'll be asked to confirm that you really do wish to delete any records.

NOTE: DNS changes in cPanel will only work if your domain is pointed to Zeronoon.com nameservers.
